Hello At the moment the title of the pdf comes from the source th file So if survey CheddarCatchment the title is CheddarCatchment This can be improved by survey CheddarCatchment -title "The Cheddar Catchmet" however sometimes in the thconfig I only select a couple of caves so would like to change the title, which I can do, but it becomes a little tedious. I was wondering if I am missing something like a way to change the title in the layout. This would be very useful, as I tend to produce different thconfig files for my different outputs, but have the same th file, so I would not have to remember to edit the th file each time I run a different thconfig. I guess I could make a custom header box, but that seems a little over the top for something that people must want to do quiet often Andrew
Have you tried: code tex-map \cavename{Your cave title.} in the layout? For setting pdf document title, also layout's doc-title option should be used. S. On 3 October 2012 13:12, Andrew Atkinson <andrew@wotcc.org.uk> wrote:

The entry "Output Map Title Override" on the page below explains how I think therion determines whether it can make use of a unique pdf map title from the source files given. http://therion.speleo.sk/wiki/doku.php?id=tex&s[]=output&s[]=map&s[]=title&s []=override#overriding_data_supplied_by_therion_map_headers It is not as direct or simple as Stachos' suggestion, but it is a little bit automatic and tolerant of user forgetfulness.
