I am currently working on topographical projects and I want to create 3D model with ground surface with a picture attached to it and KML files. For KML is it possible to export 3D kml with the walls? To do this I use this line in my thconfig export model -enable [walls] -o output\adavoustekml.kml but the kml contains only the centerline. With the line export map -o output\plan.kml I have a nice kml file but it is a 2D kml. For the Surface in loch I use a file colline.th which I include in my project file This colline.th begins with those lines : surface cs UTM31 bitmap /data/adaouste_redim.png [0 0 714040 4839736 1276 1375 714495 4840755] grid-units meter grid 714600 4839900 010.00 10.00 10 15 416 417 419 423 423 425 424 422 420 418 ….. endsurface. In my thconfig file those lines have been added to export the model : export model -o output\adavouste3D.lox The final loch contains the 3D model of the cave and the ground modeled by the surface but it is not textured by the picture. I should make a mistake but I do not know which one. Thank You for your helps. Matthieu EGELS Maître de Conférence. Université d'Aix-Marseille Enseignement: IUT d'Aix-Marseille, Dep. I believe only .jpg is supported for 3D models at present. So try swapping the png for a jpg. -----Original Message----- From: Matthieu Egels via Therion Sent: Monday, January 2, 2017 5:42 PM To: List for Therion users Cc: Matthieu Egels Subject: [Therion] 3D model with loch I am currently working on topographical projects and I want to create 3D model with ground surface with a picture attached to it and KML files. Hi Martin Happy new year. It's good to see that there is some activity on the Github and Stacho and Martin are making updates. When you say that we can submit pull requests, do you think that someone will have the time to review and approve them? There are already 5 requests pending for some time. In my fork of the repo there are other changes too https://github.com/vldgeorgiev/therion/wiki/Changelog I can make a pull request combining all of the changes if there is interest and if the authors can review and merge them. Hello Vladimir, firstly thanks for your work. We are slowly getting to work therion developement on github and we would like to review and merge all pull requests there. Would it be a huge work for you to split this large pull request into smaller (feature or function specific) parts, that could be easier to review? Thanks, S. Hi Good to hear from you. Initially I started with smaller pull requests, but because there was no activity at all on the original repo, I dropped that. Now that the commits have piled up it will require some amount of creating branches and rebasing, but I will try to do that in the next couple of days. I will split them in several features.
