Is it possible to define color-map fg only for one scrap in a Project of about 50 scraps in several surveys? I have an "all-thconfig" file for this Project and there I have defined a light yellow for the cave. And in the scrap which I want to have in very light grey I have defined this very light grey, but it will overwritten. Many thanks for Ideas. Markus
Marcus, try user area with light grey filling all the scrap. something as this: layout: def a_u_lgrey (expr p) = T:=identity; thfill p withcolor (0.73, 0.71, 0.75); enddef; th2: area u:lgrey l249-1027-2729 endarea In this way may fill your map with color areas easy. m. Martin, it works! Many Thanks!! Is there an additionally possibility to make this definition so that the area will be a bit transparent? Unfortunatelly, currently it is not possible to define transparent areas within scrap. S. On 28 October 2012 11:56, Markus Boldt <markus.boldt@gmx.net> wrote:

Marcus,
try user area with light grey filling all the scrap.
something as this:
layout:
def a_u_lgrey (expr p) = T:=identity; thfill p withcolor (0.73, 0.71, 0.75); enddef;
th2:
area u:lgrey l249-1027-2729 endarea
In this way may fill your map with color areas easy.

Try this code: def_transparent_rgb(tr_lgrey, 0.73, 0.71, 0.75); def a_u_lgrey(expr P) = T:=identity; thfill P withtransparentcolor tr_lgrey; enddef; There are a few predefined transparent colors, the most interesting of them is tr_bg (current scrap background). Standard opacity value (defined in the layout section) is applied. Martin
Martin, in the moment I see, that under the light grey ist the light yellow. That is not what I want to have. And therefore I think to define a transparency is not really possible - or?
