I like the app and would like to make it better as far as I can. So far I am doing small patches here and there in features that I needed for my own usage, nothing systematic. The source code is quite large and the features are a lot, so the todo list will be endless :)
If you have suggestion about the html, kml or other outputs, let me know and I'll see what I can do. For the kml I was wondering what else to put in the description field besides the length and depth.

The next feature I was considering is the option to add images inside of scraps(with "point image [file name]..."), and not only in the layout with map-image. I need to research some more about inserting images in TEX and Metapost and how to position them.

As for the Windows installer, I could build it, but I don't have the source for the install script. I can recreate it if needed and if there is interest...
If you are willing to take the risk, I can send you the compiled therion.exe :)

I have been wishing for 'proper' kml titles for many years. If you are still enthusiastic then there are other outputs that need titles, html lists for one.

Here are a couple of updates I did, which might be useful to someone.

1) KML model and map export. When exporting a KML it always got a title of "Therion KML", which made it harder to navigate when several files are opened in Google Earth.
I updated the title to contain the survey title in whatever language is selected for the export.
The description contains the length and depth for the cave.

2) I wanted to use a rope line, but the existing symbol for it was hidden and not completely finished. I used the existing metapost, which displays the rope very nicely, with a couple of additions. You can control whether the rebelay rope loops are shown with the option "-rebelays on/off" and the anchor points with "-anchors on/off"
The line handrail looked very similar to rope, so I changed the little dots to squares.

Attached are the code patches and a couple of screenshots.
If someone recompiles and tests those I would be happy to hear the comments :)
