Thanks Martin, I had not figured that one out, might explain some of the troubles I had from time to time.

If you are using a water or sump area symbol that has an opaque background, then naturally anything under area will be hidden.  I forget whether the default hatched symbols have an opaque background or not.  The blue filled customizations on the wiki are opaque.

I am not sure if Therion’s transparency settings can help resolve that, unless you draw a separate scrap underneath the scrap with the area water/sump.
