Now I have found “the problem”. The text-command must be outside Layout-Endlayout J.

It is iso8859-1 but that is standard by my files J.

But may be I come back to your offer.

Of course you can:

Concerning German words with ä, ö and ü you have to change your config file from utf to iso-... (can‘t remember the correct number) format.

Changing text in legend should work with (in your config file):

Text en „line handrail“ „text you want“

 „En“ is depending on your choice of language. May be you are using „de“!?

symbol-assign line handrail SKBB

If I comment the second line out and do the first line to SKBB I get the same result.

And the next thing is: I get in the legend the word “Handrail” (Gelaender) but it is in reality a “hauling track” (Transportbahn). Where or how can I change the text in the legend for example?
