May I suggest a new layout command to add text to the outputs along the lines of …

-projection [<on>|off]

… where ‘off’ is the current behaviour  and where ‘on’ adds the following text immediately under the title;

In the case of –projection plan adds the text “plan view”

In the case of –projection [elevation xxx units] adds the text  “elevation looking xxx units” where units are deg, grad or whatever

In the case of –projection [elevation extended] adds the text “extended elevation”

This would compliment the optional printing of the coordinate system that I suggested some time ago.
