Hi Xavier,

Your suggestion

\"o

Gives this

.”o

So sadly this is not an option.

Just to make sure you understand what I am trying to do, this is the text associated with a point  label

Ie

point 2008.0 -23.0 label -scale m -align center -text \''o

Hi,

You normally just have to encode these characters in latex (see http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/LaTeX/Special_Characters)
For instance the ö would be \"o or \"{o}.

Hi,

I wish to put non ascii text in labels on maps, eg the "o with two dots above it"  - ö or the character þ

How do I enter such text into therion's text field?

Thanks
