Hi Bruce,

I also observed this lag when my computer was updated to Windows 11.
For me there is a 6 seconds lag to open the cmd window, but also a 6
seconds lag at the end when the cmd window is closed and Xtherion
reads the output to display it in its interface. I believe that I
was not even seing the cmd window before with windows 10 (but I
can't go back to check).

However, my main problem is the huge delay (which can be of several
minutes) for xtherion to display a large th2 file : it take 75
seconds to display a th2 of 2500 lines of text (that is 538
commands). During that time, xtherion says "Processing commands
...", the advancement bar is progressing at the beginning and then
the xtherion freezes (not always at the same percentage) and is not
responding to anything, until it finishes eventually. Moving one
object from one scrap to another also sometimes takes several
seconds (in the current example about 5 seconds, but I have broken
my th2 file in several pieces because it was impossible to edit the
complete map with all scraps when it was taking 30 seconds to a
minute for a single move !).

I also tried to get back to earlier versions of therion without any
improvement (I am currently running xtherion 6.3.4 (2025-04-08)). I
was not really able to figure out what was the source of these
changes, except that is happened after the update from windows 10 to
11.
the time that changes were being made to the

loosely attributed the lag in processing to that.
Especially since otherwise Therion would process the
