just too big and awkward to handle though most caves I frequent. Sketching

I have used, the screen is small but so far it has been a bomb proof
combination. The Otter box is a good choice as I can climb with it tucked down
the front of my oversuit, the hand strap means I never drop it and it really is
water proof if you keep it clean. I was receiving data from the Disto the other
week when the pda was 6” underwater. I found that quite exciting in a sad
sort of way. The whole set up including the Disto and an Olympus TG2 compact
fits perfectly into a Peli 1120 case which is very easy to transport.

Won’t beat £15 for an Axim though and I now have enough Axim’s and
Otter boxes to last me for the rest of my active life all for less than £90. Let’s
hope those Zebedee things don’t work as that will have been a waste.

Does anyone use a Panasonic toughbook for caving? Do you get the DistoX
data direct uploaded to Therion on a toughbook?
If so how well do they go underground and what other mapping tools do you use
with it?
